As a result of that article, I have received much comment and many questions concerning the Second Temple Period, which began with the Return from the Babylonian Captivity. If you have already read that article, my apologies beforehand for the repeated material. But this material bears directly upon the Second Temple period, and that is the story that I wish to tell today. It is absolutely crucial that we understand precisely what happened in the land of Judah during this "intertestamental" period. Many students of the Bible have assumed – and this includes CI students – that Judaism began to take hold in Judah among those who returned from the Babylonian Captivity. They believe that the returning Judahites brought Babylonian teaching with them. I contend that this belief is false, so I have prepared this follow-up article to present my case on the true origin of the religion called Judaism. This article also contains excerpts from my book, The Great Impersonation, How the Anti-Christ Has Deceived the Whole World. Information on how to obtain a copy of this book is provided at the end of this article. -- EJ) Misconceptions About the Jewish People The historical issue of when and where Judaism began must be clarified. This issue bears directly on how numerous biblical verses are understood. It is a fact that most people assume that the Jews are Israelites. I cannot stress strongly enough that this idea is false. My book, The Great Impersonation, How the Anti-Christ Has Deceived the Whole World, details the 2,000-year-old Jewish pretense and masquerade as Israel. This book tells the parallel stories of True Israel and of those, the Edomite and Khazar Jews, who have been pretending to be us. Although the word 'Jew' is technically derived from the words 'Judah' and 'Judean,' a Jew is NOT a Judahite. A Judahite is a 100% lineal descendant of the patriarch, Judah. No admixture of alien blood is allowed. This excludes half-breeds (mamzers). God's Law explicitly forbids race-mixing for Adamites and Israelites and Judahites. One look at the Jewish visage and a little bit of historical understanding proves conclusively that the Jewish people are neither Israelites nor Judahites. On this point, most CI teachers agree. British Israel Versus American Israel Howard B. Rand has written numerous books explaining the doctrine of Christian Identity. His book, Study In Revelation, is by far the best book ever written on the subject of the Book of Revelation, or the Apocalypse of John. Mr. Rand details, with historical precision, the exact fulfillment of virtually every prophetic statement contained in the Apocalypse. The only drawback to this book is, since it was written in the 1950's, Mr. Rand had to guess about what we have lived through since then. Nevertheless, I would have to say that this one book, with the exception of Bertrand Comparet's taped sermons on this subject, makes all other commentaries on the Apocalypse look childish. That is how highly I think of his work. But Mr. Rand had a blind spot. He thought the Jewish people were the tribe of Judah! It is understandable why he thought this. He was of the British Israel school of Identity. The basic difference between British Israel and American Israel is that the former teaches what Mr. Rand believed, that the Jews are descended from Judah. American Israel, on the contrary, understands that the Jewish people are neither Israelites nor Judahites. He, along with Herbert W. Armstrong and other American followers of British Israel, taught that the Jews are the Tribe of Judah and that the German people are descended from Japheth, the brother of Shem. Rand and Armstrong have it backwards. The fact is that the German people are descended from the Jutes, Saxons, Sueves, Goths, Teutons, and other Germanic tribes, all of whom are directly descended from the Lost Ten Tribes of Israel. As the name implies, the Jutes were Judahites. History records that the vast majority of the Judahites and Benjamites were also taken captive along with the Ten Northern Tribes as part of the Assyrian Captivity, 745-715 B.C. Only Jerusalem and its immediate vicinity were not taken captive at this time. Hence, people from all twelve tribes were taken to Media and placed there by the Assyrians. The various tribes made their escape directly west across Asia Minor or north through the Caucasus Mountains. (This event was prophesied in Isaiah 11:16). The latter migration path cited above explains how the Israelites came to be known as the "Caucasians." These facts are detailed in my book and also in Ted Weiland's book, God's Covenant People. In his Study In Revelation, Howard B. Rand, as a commentary to Rev. 2:9 and 3:9, says the following: "There are those who declare they are Jews, but in reality are the synagogue of Satan. When Jewry crucified Christ they ceased to be Jews in a spiritual sense. Until then, God had been with them but now their place of worship, the synagogue, had become the abode of the adversary." [p. 12] Mr. Rand is clearly confused for the aforementioned reasons. He thinks that the Jews were, at one time or another, Judahites. Like so many other deceived people, he thought that the Jewish people originated in the Judahites of the land of Judah. I can assure you that this is not possible. Just because the rabbis have very cleverly and deceitfully used the word 'Jew' to apply to both themselves and to the House of Judah does not mean that they ever were the latter! If an actor impersonates your brother, does that mean that he IS your brother? Just like Eve, the true Israelites have allowed themselves to be fooled by some very clever, diabolical deceptions. E. Raymond Capt suffers under the same illusion. In his book, Missing Links Discovered in Assyrian Tablets, he says, "After the Babylonian Empire was overthrown by Cyrus, king of the Persians, the exiled Judeans were allowed to return to their homeland. Of the hundreds of thousands originally taken captive, less than 50,000 accepted the invitation to return to Palestine. It is this 'remnant' that became known as the 'Jews,' a name meaning 'remnant of Judah,' and never having been applied to any branch of the Semitic peoples prior to the Babylonian Captivity ." -- p. 93. Unfortunately, Mr. Capt has got this completely wrong. I have nowhere else found a definition of 'Jew' meaning "remnant of Judah." It is simply a matter of historical fact that this remnant of Judah fully retained the name, 'Judah,' and they were not known, ever, as Jews, because the Jews, unlike Judah, have always practiced race-mixing and have always practiced a different religion. The people of Judah called their nation "Judah" until the day that Judah and Idumea, a nation of Edomites at the southern border of Judah, were merged by King John Hyrcanus of Judah around 150 B.C. Until that date, there was no such thing as a Jew. A Jew is one who pretends to be a Judahite, or, perhaps, better, a Jew is a counterfeit Judahite. Rev. 2:9 says, "I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich), and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews [Judahites], and are not, but are of the synagog of Satan." Rev. 3:9 tells us, "Behold, I will make them of the synagog of Satan, which say they are Jews [Judahites] , and are not, but do lie; Behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee." Is it conceivable that Jesus is talking here to the Jewish people, after he has identified them as the "children of the devil"? He is talking to the House of Judah about the impersonating Jews! Who are those who say they are of Judah but are not? Who is it that is impersonating Judah? Judah cannot impersonate Judah. Judah IS Judah. It is the Jews who are impersonating Judah and Israel. These two statements make no sense otherwise. And, most certainly, the house of Judah is NOT the synagogue of Satan. If you do not understand that Jewry with their priesthood, the rabbinate, is the synagogue of Satan, then you do not understand the New Testament! Why do you think the Jews hate the New Testament so much? Because it is so anti-Jewish! Who on earth would want to impersonate a Jew anyway? Obviously, the above translation is terribly defective, and it obscures the historical, cultural and ethnic distinctions that must obtain between two mutually exclusive and antagonist groups: Jews and Judahites! Don't confuse the two! Jesus is talking to Judah and Israel and is warning us about this great impersonation by those Edomites (of the nation of Idumea) who have usurped the name of Judah. The source of this confusion can be traced directly to a rabbinical statement which many of our people have latched on to as if it were solid history. Here is the statement: "The return from Babylon, and the adoption of the Babylonian Talmud marks the end of Hebrewism, and the beginning of Judaism." -- Rabbi Stephen F. Wise, Chief Rabbi of the United States. Within non-Identity circles, any statement made by the chief Rabbi of the United States is automatically assumed to be authoritative. But these hearers are not aware of the Babylonian Talmud as the true origin of rabbinical teaching. They assume that the Jews were Judahites at one time. Thus, too many people have taken this statement to be historically accurate. They don't understand that the rabbinate is the world's OLDEST PROFESSIONAL LIAR'S CLUB, with 2,000 years of deception, distortion, invention and trickery, masterfully conceived and presented to a gullible Christian world. Rabbi Wise's statement is pure rabbinical deception of the most clever kind. The "good" rabbi knows that most of us don't know the history of our own people, so he gets away with several historical inaccuracies in this one, short statement. Most Christian Identity adherents know that there must have been a historical time when there was a shift in religious teaching, from the Law of Moses to Talmudism. The statement above appears to pinpoint this transition to the time of the return of Judah from the Babylonian Captivity. The genius of this deception becomes evident when it is realized that most people will assume that, because our people were held captive so long in Babylon, THEY MUST HAVE PICKED UP BABYLONIAN TEACHING THEN AND THERE. But the fact is that they did not. The Books of Ezra and Nehemiah prove conclusively that the remnant that returned from Babylon completely rejected Babylonian teaching and returned, under the guidance of those two priests, to God's Law. In fact, Yahweh Himself declared that the House of Judah was to be taken captive to Babylon "for their good"! (Jer. 24:5) If Rabbi Wise's statement were true, it would have been a total catastrophe for Judah! The return from the captivity, contrary to Rabbi Wise's statement, which is believed by so many, instead inaugurated a Golden Age of Mosaic Law, NOT Talmudism. Indeed, if this were not the case, the Messiah could have never come to a people so completely adulterated as the Jews! The racial descent laws had to apply or Jesus could not have been born ! So, whom are you going to believe, the Bible or a rabbi? Here is the whole prophecy from Jeremiah, Chapter 24, giving us the distinction between the good figs and the evil figs: "Thus sayeth Yahweh, the God of Israel; Like these good figs, so will I acknowledge them that are carried away captive of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of Chaldea [Babylon], for their good. For I will set mine eyes upon them for good, and I will bring them again to this land: and I will build them, and not pull them down; and I will plant them, and not pluck them up . And I will give them an heart to know me, that I am Yahweh: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God: for they shall return to me with their whole heart." (Vs. 5-7) In complete fulfillment of this prophecy, Ezra and Nehemiah reestablished the racial laws forbidding intermarriage. They found the old Jerusalem books of genealogy (Neh. Chapter 7) and threw out of the congregation all of those who could not verify their 100% Judahite lineage! Does this square with what Capt and Rand teach? No, it does not. Rabbi Wise's statement is calculated to deceive in five ways: 1.) It presumes an identity between Judahites and Jews. 2.) It creates a plausible yet false scenario for the change from Hebrewism (the Law of Moses) to Judaism (Talmudism). 3.) Contrary to what he says, the Talmud was NOT adopted by those who returned. The Bible teaches otherwise. Here, Rabbi Wise is attaching a false sense of antiquity to Judaism. Judaism was started by the scribes and Pharisees. The sect of the Pharisees did not appear in history until the merger of Judah and Idumea in 150 B.C. This merger was accomplished by virtue of the anti-Mosaic decree of King John Hyrcanus of Judah. The resulting nation of mixed multitude came to be known as "Judea." 4.) The Talmud, the written version of the oral traditions and teachings of the Pharisees, was not encoded until 500 A.D. 5.) Hebrewism never died. It was restored and energized by Ezra and Nehemiah. It was subsequently defended by the Maccabees; and it was kept alive by the early Christians, and it is today known as Christian Identity. A Brief history of the Second Temple Period The Book of Ezra provides much valuable information regarding the struggle of the post‑captivity Judahites to maintain a pure line of descent. The first thing that Ezra did was to order a registration of pedigree, and those who could not prove themselves to be pure‑bred Judahites were cast out of the priesthood (2:62). In addition, all non‑Israelite wives and the offspring of their marriages were put away and cast out of the territory (10:2,3). The Book of Nehemiah records the same events (7:64, 13:22). It is apparent to us, however, that in spite of this house‑cleaning, some members of the priesthood eventually resumed their forbidden affairs, and by the time of Christ, 450 years later, the Pharisees, the leading faction of the priesthood, were not all pure‑bred Israelites. This does not mean, however, that the common people of Judah, Benjamin, and Levi were as guilty of intermarriage as this faction of the priesthood. Indeed, were we lacking evidence, we would have to accept it on faith that both Joseph and Mary were pure‑bred Israelites, most likely descended from the stock of simple, devout folk who traditionally do not engage in the sins of those who occupy positions of power and great temptation. The city of Jerusalem was a cosmopolitan city that stood at the crossroads of the North African/Asian trade routes. It was the New York City of its day. It is a well-known fact that most of the vice, crime, and moral decay takes place in the largest cities where criminals are more anonymous than in the small towns and farming communities. And, indeed, that is also where Jews tend to congregate. As a consequence of this cosmopolitanism, we would expect higher class, wealthier Judahites, who were of the merchant class, or politicians, or the highest priests and scribes to be the ones most likely to have the opportunity to engage in fornication. Ezra confirms this in Chapter 9. On the fourth day after returning from Babylon, Ezra received this report from the leaders of his entourage: "The people of Israel, and the priests, and the Levites, have not separated themselves from the people of the lands, doing according to their abominations…for they have taken of their daughters for themselves, and for their sons: so that the holy seed have mingled themselves with the people of those lands: yea, the hand of the princes and rulers hath been chief in this trespass." (Verse 1 and 2.) You see, the holy seed is not to be mixed with other seed. Ezra rends his garments in anguish over this state of affairs. But he sees that it is his job to clean up this mess and that the Father intends as much. He says, at Verse 8: "And now for a little space grace hath been shewed from Yahweh our God, to leave us a remnant to escape." Then he resolves to correct this situation: " Now therefore give not your daughters unto their sons, neither take their daughters unto your sons, nor seek their peace nor their wealth forever [are you listening, children of Israel?]: that ye may be strong, and eat the good of the land, and leave it for an inheritance to your children forever ." (Verse 12.) So, for those universalists and multiculturalists and other mixed-up Judeo-Christians, Ezra is tying our prosperity directly to obeying the LAW AGAINST RACE-MIXING! Don't you ever listen to one of those lying, sycophantic, low-life preachers again! They are the traitors of your race who have become the scum that work for the Jewish scum. In a filthy pond, the scum rise to the top. The fact that the New Testament makes a point of listing Joseph and Mary's genealogy all the way from Adam is evidence that Matthew (Chapter 1) and Luke (Chapter 3) took the matter of genealogy very seriously even though the Pharisaic priesthood did not observe this law. The Book of Esther is relevant to this time period; but, before discussing the Book of Esther, a few points must be made concerning the cultural changes that were going on among the Judahites at this time. Due to the absence from Palestine of the Judahites during the Babylonian Captivity, the Hebrew language fell into disuse. It was replaced by the Syrian tongue, Aramaic, which is said to be very similar to Hebrew. Aramaic is the language which was spoken in Judea at the time of Christ. Now, it was right after the Captivity of Judah that the synagogue came into existence. Since the great Temple of Jerusalem was destroyed, the scattered communities of Judahites erected smaller buildings to conduct their worship. Apparently, before this time, there was only the one Temple. Those Israelites living too far away from the Temple to go there on the Sabbath had to get together wherever they were to hold study groups on the Mosaic Law. (The word 'synagogue' means "congregation.") The synagogue is quite obviously the forerunner of the Christian churches because that is where Yah's Law was taught. (The synagogue of Satan is where Judaism is taught.) What has been previously referred to here as Hebrewism is more correctly called Mosaism because Moses is the actual compiler and administrator of the Law. Before Moses, there was no codified law and the Hebrews were more a distinct cultural group rather than a distinct religious group. This was changed by Moses. It is Mosaism which is always erroneously referred to as Judaism. As will be shown later, Judaism traces its origins to the Sadducees, Scribes, and Pharisees. It was these sects that changed Mosaism to the extent that Jesus condemned their doctrines as "the Traditions of the Elders." This fact is of the utmost importance in exposing the historical fraud being perpetrated by those calling themselves Jews. Mosaic Law was altered by the Scribes and Pharisees. The Rabbis are the inheritors of their traditions. The Talmud is the written catalog of their traditions; and Judaism is the religious philosophy and culture which is the direct result of these traditions. Rabbi Louis Finkelstein, in discussing the transition from Pharisaism to modern Judaism, confirms this: Pharisaism became Talmudism, Talmudism became Medieval Rabbinism, and Medieval Rabbinism became Modern Rabbinism..throughout these changes in name…the spirit of the ancient Pharisees survives, unaltered." -- p. 12, The Pharisees, the Sociological Background of Their Faith. Of course his book is intended for Jewish readers only and he does not mention the extremes of antipathy between Talmudism and Hebrewism and between Judaism and the Way of Jesus Christ! Due to the scattering of the Judahites from Babylon to Alexandria, Egypt, there began to arise numerous additional sects, many of which developed non‑Mosaic and even anti‑Mosaic teachings of their own. In the words of the Bible, while the good figs were in captivity in Babylon, the bad figs were playing around. So, keeping these major cultural changes in mind, let us continue with our brief history of the House of Judah in the Second Temple period. The Book of Esther tells the story of a Benjamite woman (Esther 2:5‑7) who is taken as a wife by King Ahasuerus (probably Xerxes I) of Persia. It is the story of her loyalty to her people as well as the story of Mordecai's loyalty to his people (Israel). The Book of Esther illustrates very well the types of intrigues which occur within the halls of government when different groups of people vie for power and influence with the leadership. Judaism has taken the Book of Esther for its own and still celebrates the Feast of Purim which commemorates Mordecai's victory over Haman, the Agagite (Amelekite), contender with Mordecai for influence over Ahasuerus. The Book of Esther records that Mordecai is a Benjamite. Josephus, the Judahite historian, does tell us that Mordecai refused to pay homage to Haman because Haman was an Amelekite; and the Amelekites had always been Israel's bitterest enemy. (Chapter 6, Antiquities of the Jews. At the time that Josephus wrote, a Jew is technically defined as a half-breed Judahite. The first Jews were part Judahite and part Idumean, or part Canaanite. Although Josephus is relating the history of Judea as well as the Tribe of Judah, his intent is clearly to relate primarily the history of Judah and the relevant Israelite tribes that were associated with Judah. Considering these problems, the title of his book should be "Antiquities of the Judahites." Certainly, the Jews and their bought and paid for "Christian" ministers, by using the word 'Jews" in the title seek to confuse what people and what religion is being talked about.). Mordecai is, therefore, a pure‑bred Judahite and, hence, not a Jew. Indeed, Josephus carries on the theme of the Old Testament by documenting the lineage of Israel's leadership very carefully. This lineage is always held distinct from the lineage of the surrounding Canaanites. Esther regarded her own fate with a great deal of tragedy, for as a seed‑conscious Israelite, she could only be in a great deal of distress. In her own words: "...and so I will go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish." ‑‑ Est. 4:16. Now, since the Jews do not obey any laws against race-mixing, and Esther plainly regards sex with a non-Judahite King AS A VIOLATION OF THE LAW, is Esther a Jewess or a Judahite? Her apparent choice is simple: either lie with the king or face his wrath. Of course, the fate of Israel has always depended upon how our women choose. Only the Israelites had a strict law against race-mixing. The Jewish religion has never obeyed any such law. The pagan religions had no law against it. And Judaism has always been a pagan, Babylonian religion. (It should be pointed out here that several Identity researchers, such as Bertrand Comparet and Wesley Swift, consider the Book of Esther to be a forgery, an invention of Jewish writers who wished to insert this story into the Bible. They gave two main reasons for suspecting a forgery: 1.) the excessive violence of Mordecai's vengeance and 2.) the fact that the KJV version of Esther does not contain the name of Yahweh. It is thus the only book of the OT that does not contain the Sacred Name. But, to me, the story, as presented in the Bible, does not at all detract from the Israelite message. First of all, those were very violent days, with "ethnic cleansing" being a commonplace form of warfare and revenge. In addition, the Dead Sea Scrolls contain portions of the Book of Esther from the Septuagint. The Septuagint version does, in fact, contain the name of Yahweh, proving once again that the Septuagint is the more accurate version than the Massoretic and that it predates any Talmudic tampering or invention. These two facts prove that the Book of Esther was written by Hebrews, not Jews.) One thing is clear, however. The half‑breed child of an Israelite and a non‑Israelite would be a Jew, not an Israelite. This is the undeniable Law of God. An Israelite must have <U>both</U> parents be of pure‑bred descent or he/she cannot be an Israelite. It's as simple as that. Only such a child can claim to be of the "chosen". All others who make the claim are impostors, including those Jews who claim to possess the "Cohen gene." What a joke! The fact is that recent DNA studies prove conclusively that the Jews and the Palestinians have nearly indistinguishable DNA! And get this: up to one third of Palestinian babies are born with blond hair and blue eyes, a clear indication that they have more White blood in them than Jews do! The best data available to us between the time of Esther down to the Maccabees is that of Josephus. Let us pick up with Josephus where he relates the story of the prophets Ezra (Esdras) and Nehemiah. He documents the valiant struggles of the Judahites to remain a distinct people and kingdom. (It is interesting to note, in this regard, that, true to their half‑breed status, Judaism requires that only the mother be Jewish for the child to be considered a Jew. This is an obviously anti‑Mosaic tradition! -- and, therefore, anti-Israel and anti-Biblical! Since Winston Churchill's mother was an American Jewess, that makes him fully Jewish! No wonder he and Rosenfelt got along so well!) Two important statements are found in Chapter 5 of the "Antiquities": "... Esdras...was very skillful in the laws of Moses..." This shows us that knowledge of the Mosaic law was still something honored and respected at this time, in spite of attempts by usurpers to influence the priesthood. The "little space of grace" mention by Ezra in Chapter 9, Verse 2 has to last until the coming of Jesus, or there will be no Jesus. In confirmation of our tracing of the history of the Ten Lost Tribes, Josephus says: "wherefore there are but two tribes in Asia and Europe subject to the Romans, while the ten tribes are beyond Euphrates till now, and are an immense multitude, and not to be estimated by numbers. " This proves that the Judahites of that day understood their blood connection to the Lost Tribes of the House of Israel, which was also known at that time as the House of Joseph. Chapter 6 of Antiquities confirms the existence of King Ahasuerus, a fact doubted by many, including Douglas Reed, author of The Controversy of Zion. Regarding the Book of Esther, William Whiston, translator of the Complete Works of Josephus, says in a footnote: " almost all the objections against this book of Esther are gone at once, if we place this history under Artaxerxes Longimanus, as do both the Septuagint interpreters and Josephus." This is one of the rare instances in which I disagree with Swift and Comparet and accept the conventional wisdom. The Book of Esther leaves off at approximately 450 to 430 B.C. In order to tell the story of the Judahites from this point to the time of Christ, we must turn again to secular history (Josephus, Pliny, and Philo, the Alexandrian Judahite) and the Apocrypha as well as other Judahite literature such as the Pseudepigrapha and the Dead Sea Scrolls. The Pseudepigrapha are distinguished from the Apocrypha by the fact that neither Protestants nor Catholics consider them canonical although they are nevertheless Israelite literature. The Apocrypha are considered canonical by Catholics. From the above discussion and examination of relevant historical documents, I can say that I am not aware of any historical evidence which even remotely suggests that any form of sectarianism, either from outside the Levitical priesthood or within the Levitical priesthood, took place in the land of Judah until the time of King John Hyrcanus, around 150 B.C. No exact date can be given for the creation of the sect of the Pharisees, but most scholars place their origin around this time. The history of the House of Judah from 430 B.C. down to the time of Christ is divided into four periods: The Persian Period, 430 to 332. The Greek Period, 331 to 167. The Maccabean Period, 166 to 63. The Roman Period, 63 to Christ and after. Continuing now with Josephus: Chapter 8 relates how the Syrians were defeated by Alexander the Great and how the Judahites concluded an alliance with him. Relevant to our documentation of the genealogical history of these Judahites is a statement concerning the Samaritans, a group of Syrians who lived just north of Judea: "...the Samaritans...seeing that Alexander had greatly honored the Jews [sic], determined to profess themselves Jews; for such is the disposition of the Samaritans, as we have already elsewhere declared, that when the Jews [Judahites] are in adversity they deny that they are of kin to them, and then they confess the truth; but when they perceive that some good fortune hath befallen them they immediately pretend to have communion with them, saying, that they belong to them, and derive their genealogy from the posterity of Joseph, Ephraim, and Manasseh ." Note that Josephus is declaring that the Samaritans were prone to impersonating Judah when it was politically expedient to do so. This type of Jewish duplicity is evident to us today as well, for in America they fervently praise the "separation of church and state" while in Israel, they are Jewish despots practicing a Jewish theocracy. Here in the story of the Samaritans we get another clue as to how the impostor group is coming into being. Again, the use of the word `Jew' for both `Judahite' and `Judean' by the translator is a good example of not keeping distinctions clear. The English word 'Jew' did not come into existence until a much later time in history (1600's) when the confusion of the terms 'Judean' and 'Judahite' by various historians had become commonplace. The German word 'Jude' is subject to the same problems. The Samaritans, as pretend Judahites, were simply perceived by outsiders to be Judeans. These outsiders did not make any distinctions between Edomites, Judahites and their mixed offspring. Nor did they understand the differences between the Mosaic Law and Pharisaic "law." Josephus is telling us that the Samaritans claimed to be Judahites when and if there was political gain to be made therefrom. Many of these same Samaritans eventually were absorbed into Jewry, although their origin is most likely that of half-breed Israelites of the tribe of Joseph. Even at this point in time, the Judahites referred to themselves as "Judah", not as Judeans. A good modern parallel is the word 'German' which is used exclusively by outsiders to refer to the German people, who refer to themselves as 'Deutsch,' a word derived from 'Teuton.' The Greek word `Ioudaios', meaning Judean, is incorrectly translated as meaning Jew, for the word `Jew' implies a different meaning than would either `Judean' or 'Judahite.' W.G. Finlay, late editor of the periodical, THE COVENANT MESSAGE, has this to say regarding this great impersonation: "According to Josephus ‑‑ Antiquities of the Jews ‑‑ the name `Jew' first came into existence with what is generally called `the return from the Babylonian captivity [actually, Josephus doesn't say that; his translators do!]...I find it very significant that prior to this time, the word `Jew' was unknown. Why, in the Masoretic text ‑‑ which is a Jewish work ‑‑ is there no reference to `Abraham the Jew' or `Moses the Jew'? This surely tells us something but so few are prepared to open their eyes and see the depth of the masquerade which is having such a disastrous effect on the TRUE Israel people." W.N. Saxon, in his booklet, "The Mask of Edom", says, "Judaism's masquerade as Biblical Judah and, moreover, as all Israel ‑‑ which is the basis of Jewish Nationalism ‑‑ becomes patently counterfeit when placed in juxtaposition with the historical record of the true Houses of Israel and Judah. Even a brief summary will show the contrast between the descendants of Biblical Jacob‑Israel as opposed to the alien posterity of the cabal which claims for itself not only the Promised Land but the very name and inheritance of Israel ." ‑‑ p. 8. Envy by the Canaanites over the Israelites and their heritage is recorded in the Book of Psalms: " For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head. They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones . They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance. For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee. " ‑‑ 83:2‑5. The "hidden ones" are the lost tribes and those who have forgotten their true heritage. This envy is nothing more than the lust Esau has for recovering the inheritance which he so foolishly and steadfastly rejected. The Edomites are confederate against true Israel because Esau, who is still in rebellion against God's Law, is the forefather and the animating spirit behind Edom and Judaism. In addition to Josephus, I and II Maccabees tell us of the struggles of the Judahite leadership to liberate themselves from Greek domination. They should be read in conjunction with Josephus in order to get a full appreciation of the difficulties, in terms of internal squabbling, Canaanite intrigues and external military threats that the Judahites faced. (The reader should understand that what is being retold here is a mere sketch of this period of history, and only the most salient points are being discussed. Reading Josephus and Maccabees is highly encouraged.) Upon the death of Alexander the Great, the fortunes of Judah changed for the worse. Alexander's empire was divided among his generals, and two of them, in turn, fought over Judea. In response to the invasion of Antiochus the Great, the Maccabeans revolted and gained independence from the Greeks at the cost of ongoing warfare. Due to the pressures and intrigues of war, it was at this time that infighting among the Judahites for the High Priesthood, and much intrigue resulted with one faction allying themselves with Antiochus while the other faction allied themselves with Ptolemy of Egypt. It was shortly after that the sects known as the Sadducees, Pharisees, and Essenes arose; and the story of the House of Judah cannot be appreciated without understanding the power struggle that was going on among them. Very briefly, the Sadducees can be said to be pro‑Greek. The Sadducees usually consisted of the Judahite upper class and the reigning High Priest. These were influential people holding positions of political power. More than likely, they favored the cosmopolitan life‑style of the Greeks, with its games and spectacles and sophistication, to the rigid doctrines of the Mosaic Law – a striking parallel to our "modern" Christian "leadership," which has become very secular! The Pharisees, on the other hand, as the favorites of the Herodian kings, held authority, if not respect, over the common people of Judah; and it seems that their power was not to be denied. (The modern parallel here is Christian Zionism! Compare the power of the Jewish Neo-Cons in today's Bush administration. The Bush family might as well be the reincarnation of Herodian dynasty!) Several Judahite leaders, such as John Hyrcanus and Alexander Janneus, had their lives made difficult by opposing the Pharisees. The Essenes seemed to be a more monastic group which included a branch of Cenobites who took vows of celibacy. All of the available evidence suggests that it was the Essenes who took most seriously their Israelite heritage and obeyed the racial law against intermarriage. (Christian Identity today, thank you!) The Essenes, therefore, diametrically opposed the Pharisees, seeing them as hypocrites and usurpers.
Judas Maccabeus (a Judahite, not a Jew!) arose as a great spiritual and military leader and successfully fought off Antiochus and even subdued the Idumeans and Ammonites to the south. Judas was so successful that he nearly regained all the territory which belonged to the Twelve Tribes before the captivity! After the Maccabees successfully evicted the Greeks, the Samaritans, seeing the difficulties of the Judahites somewhat abated, for the time being, renewed their claim of kinship to Judah. While the nation of Judah was fiercely defending itself against Greece, the Idumeans were already forming an alliance with Rome, plotting their move against Judah when the inevitable defeat of Greece came at the hands of the Romans. Judah, being fully occupied defending herself against Greece, and not given to making deceptive deals behind the scenes, was not prepared for the Roman juggernaut. With the Roman occupation, behind-the-scenes intrigue by both Judahite and non-Judahite candidates increased, and the priesthood fell more and more into corruption. Josephus relates that "Alcimus, who was not of the high priest stock," became High Priest. The continuous warfare was taking its toll on Judah's spiritual life. The situation grew worse and worse until, finally, Antipater, an Idumean, gained influence with John Hyrcanus, a Maccabean. Antipater talked Hyrcanus into conquering Idumea and making Judea and Idumea one kingdom, thus tending to mingle the populations. It was at this point that the Idumeans became Judeans, for a purely Judahite priesthood would never have accepted Idumeans as fellow citizens. By this time, the Babylonian influence on the scribes and Pharisees had already allowed them to accept non-Israelite members, otherwise, Alcimus would never have become high priest. Consequently, Hyrcanus permitted them to stay in the combined new country if they submitted to circumcision and subjected themselves to the religious rules and regulations of the high priests. This was, of course, a disastrous development in terms of distinguishing Judahites from Canaanites. In a footnote to Josephus, translator Whiston says " This account of the Idumeans admitting circumcision, and the entire Jewish [Pharisaic] law, from this time, or from the days of Hyrcanus, is confirmed by their entire history afterwards...Ammonius, a grammarian, says: ‑‑`The Jews [Judahites] are such by nature, and from the beginning, whilst Idumeans were not Jews [Judahites] from the beginning, but Phoenicians and Syrians; but being afterwards subdued by the Jews [sic] and compelled to be circumcised, and to unite into one nation, and be subject to the same laws, they were called Jews [Judeans -- EJ].' Dio also says: ‑‑ `That country is also called Judea, and the people Jews [sic]; and this name is given also to as many as embrace their religion, though of other nations.' " ‑‑ Antiquities, Chap. 9. The racial confusion bred linguistic confusion, and the rabbis have exploited this linguistic confusion in their historical pretense as Israel and Judah. The above quotes demonstrate why we should always distinguish between Jews and Judahites. The Jews have done everything possible to influence Christian and secular historians into equating Jews with Judahites; but as can be plainly seen, the history of Jewry and Judaism begins with this edict of John Hyrcanus. Thus, properly understood, this is an excellent commentary and verification of our main argument: that a non‑Israelite people called Jews adopted, by virtue of their half‑breed relationship to Israel, some Israelite customs and kept the name for themselves! Also clearly expressed here is how the distinction between Judahites (Israelites) and Judeans became blurred, eventually to be forgotten, with the word 'Jew' substituting for both! Indeed, had these developments not taken place, the prophecy concerning Israel's lost identity would never have been fulfilled. (See Psalm 83:3; Isa. 29:10-12; 42:16,19-20; 49:2; Hos. 1:9,10; 2:6; Matt. 13:44; Romans 11:7,8,25.) While the modern Jews, the inheritors of the "Traditions of the Elders", have claimed continuity with Israel from that day forward, true Israel, the Anglo‑Saxons plus the remnant of Judah, eventually forgot who they were and lost their identity! It is one of the most important marks of Israel that God foretells true Israel's forgetfulness. The Anglo-Saxons have indeed forgotten their true heritage. In contradistinction, the Jews have always claimed to be the Chosen People! So, who is True Israel, those who fulfill the prophecy or those do not? John Hyrcanus was succeeded by Aristobulus I and then by Alexander Janneus, who was a most cruel and corrupt monarch. He made a habit of killing many of his own people and is reported to have crucified eight hundred Judahites at one time and slit the throats of their wives and children while they watched from their crosses – kind of like George W. Bush sending True Israelites out to Iraq to be slaughtered by the Zionist war machine! Alexander was succeeded by his wife, Alexandra, who made a league with the Pharisees. She did this because Alexander, on his death bed told her that all his troubles were due to having opposed the Pharisees and joining ranks with the Sadducees. He thus advised her to cease hostilities with the Pharisees if she did not wish to fall into the same tragedy. Alexandra was succeeded by her son, Hyrcanus III. But, Hyrcanus III and his brother, Aristobulus II, fought with each other over the throne, Aristobulus II realizing that the nation was being taken over by non‑Israelites. But then the Romans entered the scene and concluded a pact with Hyrcanus III and Antipater, the Idumean, thus defeating Aristobulus II. Upon Hyrcanus III's death, his sons, in turn, struggled to regain the leadership, but Antipater murdered two of them and finally installed his own son, Herod, as monarch of Judea. Judah was at its ebb. Around 60 B.C., Herod the Great, a half‑breed Idumean Jew (and now the word is correctly applied), became petrarch of Judea, a collector of tribute money for the Romans. Thus ended the valiant struggle of the Judahites to remain a distinct people and culture under their own rule. It is important for us to realize that the struggle to maintain the genealogical purity of Israel continued even down to the time of Christ. In spite of all the corruption and seed‑mixing at the upper echelons, there were still numerous pockets of pure‑bred Israelites in and around Judea, especially of the tribe of Benjamin in Galilee. One of these settlements, known as Nazareth, was to be the home of Jesus, the Messiah. In fact, the Galilean Benjamites rarely entered Jerusalem; and, remember, Peter was found out because he had a Galilean accent! Absolutely crucial to our understanding of this history is this most salient fact: After the return from captivity, the remnant of the House of Judah had to perform its function of bringing the Messiah into the world. Christ could not have been born except through pure-bred Judahite stock! That is why Matthew, Chapter 1 and Luke Chapter 3 so meticulously record Yahshua's genealogy. Judah's leadership down to the time of Christ was accepted by a succession of prophets, priests, kings, priest‑kings, and national heroes. It was to be the function of the "good figs" of the House of Judah to fulfill the prophecy of the coming of the Messiah. The "bad figs", on the other hand, were to become a "taunt and a curse" in the various lands to which they were scattered. The bad figs are those who intermarried with non-Israelites and became known as the Jews. These bad figs were the ones most responsible for the deicide on the cross. They were to dwell in Judea (Palestine) until 70 A.D. before being scattered themselves. With the advent of the Herodians and the Pharisees, the time is now ripe for the coming of the Messiah: Mosaism (Hebrewism) in Judea is being replaced by the "traditions of men," the Pharisees. Judaism (Pharisaism), thanks to Herod and his henchmen, is displacing the Levitical priesthood. The Pharisees, although experiencing opposition from the Sadducees, have gained control of religious and civic life. True Judah is struggling for its survival. Jews are usurping Judah's claim to the Covenant. God appears in human form in the person of Jesus Christ. Jesus, knowing better than any human being the difference between a Judahite and a Jew, declared "I come not but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel ," ( Matt. 15:24) for "He would not walk in Jewry, for the Jews sought to kill Him." (John 7:1.) It is imperative that we understand our true history in order to determine exactly where and when the Jewish heresy began to displace the Mosaic Law. Consequently, it is an anachronism to refer to any Judahites before 150 B.C. as Jews! They were Judahites who practiced the Mosaic Law. They were not mamzers who practiced Talmudic Judaism! I cannot stress these distinctions enough. Like the differences between X chromosomes and Y chromosomes, you have to know the religious, cultural and racial differences between Jews and Judahites in order understand true history. It is imperative that we understand these distinctions between Judahites and Jews. Otherwise, Judaism will triumph over True Israel in her ignorance! I hope this historical analysis has been sufficiently clear so that we can recognize how the Jews have created a false history for themselves so as to confuse even our most erudite scholars, even such scholars as E. Raymond Capt and Howard B. Rand. Here are the historical facts: The Pharisees are the originators of the religion known as Judaism. As usurpers later empowered by King Herod, who was an Idumean/Edomite put in place by the Roman authorities over the people of Judah, who were NOT HIS RACIAL KIN, the Pharisees began to infiltrate the priesthood of Judah at all levels. The historian, Josephus (who was not a Jew but a Judahite whose family was of the first of the 24 courses, hereditary families in the service of Israel and Judah!), tells us that, with regard to the ruling priesthood, Herod had all of the racial Judahites murdered and replaced with Edomites! Now do you see how the transition from Hebrewism to Judaism really took place? It all started shortly before the time of Christ. The modern parallels are, again, very striking, as the anti-Jewish Christian priesthood was replaced by the Judeo-Christian priesthood during the 1960's, with the advent of Judeo-televangelism and "Christian" Zionism: the scum that go by such names as Jerry Falwell, Pat ("Let's take out Chavez") Robertson, Billy Graham, Tim LaHaye, Jack van Impe…and let's not forget Rush Limbaugh and Sun Yung Moon. I feel very secure in declaring that American Israel has a much more accurate view of our true history than British Israel. The British Empire has been a lackey of Jewish international finance since before the American Revolution. Remember, folks, the Jewish bankers were the ones who instigated King George against the Colonies. It was Jewish debt money imposed upon the Colonies that was a major reason – if not THE major reason – for the revolt of the Colonies. The Americans did not want to be the debt-slaves of the Bank of England. Having established the fact that the ancient House of Judah absolutely contaminated itself with Babylonian teaching at the time of John Hyrcanus, the question still remains as to what extent the House of Judah allowed Babylonian teachings to creep in at any time before this during the Second Temple period. Isa. 37:31-35, tells us this: And the remnant that is escaped of the House of Judah shall again take root downward, and bear fruit upward: For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant [recall Ezra 9:8], and they that escape out of Mount Zion: the zeal of Yahweh will accomplish this. Therefore, thus saith Yahweh concerning the king of Assyria, He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shields, nor cast a bank against it. By the way that he came, by the same shall he return, and shall not come into this city, saith Yahweh. For I will defend this city to save it for mine own sake, and for my servant David's sake ." This verse is telling us that Yahweh intends to defend Jerusalem for a future purpose. The expression "take root downward and bear fruit upward" is can only be a reference to the Second Temple Period, for there was no other revival of the Mosaic Law! And it concerns keeping Jerusalem alive for a time, which means keeping His Law and His priesthood alive, until Jerusalem fulfills its purpose. That purpose is the coming of the Messiah, Jesus Christ, and it is declared in the following verse: "The scepter shall not depart from Judah until Shiloh come." (Gen. 49:10) It was at this time in history that the Judahite dynasty of King David ended with Jesus Christ in the land of Judah. But thanks to Joseph of Arimathea, this bloodline dynasty was transplanted to Britain in 37 A.D. By ship, Joseph took Mary, mother of Jesus, Mary Magdalene, Lazarus, and nine other Saints with him to Avalon, now known as Glastonbury, where he built the very first Christian Church. One of the nine, a maiden by the name of Penardim, the niece of Mary, and therefore a Judahite, married into the royal lineage of the Silurian Dynasty of Britain: the one and only King Llyr (Lear). Thus the dynasty of King David was transferred to Britain through Penardim. The Judahites of Anglo-Saxon Europe had already intermarried with the Lost Ten Tribes (the House of Joseph), so that the Dynasty of Joseph and the Dynasty of Judah had been remerged, thus fulfilling the prophecy of the merging of the two sticks in the hand of Yahweh (Eze. 37:16-19). Glory, HalleuYAH! It was during the reign of Solomon that northern House of Israel formed their own government and broke away from the House of Judah. St. Paul confirms that one of the main objectives of the Messiah's mission was to heal the breach between the Two Houses of Israel and Judah. Speaking to the Ephesians, who were descendants of the exiled House of Israel: "But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were afar off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us…and came and preached peace to you which were afar off [House of Israel] , and to them that were nigh [House of Judah]." (Eph. 2:13-17). Ezekiel's Curse Upon Jerusalem With the destruction of the Temple in 70 A.D by the Roman General Titus, the Second Temple period came to a close. It is actually at the point of the Pharisaic persecution of Messiah that this curse begins. "Again in the ninth year, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, the word of Yahweh came unto me, saying, Son of man, write thee the name of the day, even of this same day: the king of Babylon set himself against Jerusalem this same day. And utter a parable unto the rebellious house…Wherefore thus saith Yahweh God; Woe to the bloody city, to the pot whose scum [the scribes and Pharisees] is therein, and whose scum is not gone out of it! Bring it out piece by piece; let no lot fall upon it. For her blood is in the midst of her; she set it upon the top of a rock [Calvary]… Therefore, thus saith Yahweh God, Woe to the bloody city! I will even make the pile for fire great." (Eze. 24:1-9). Except for the Wailing Wall built by Herod, the Temple was completely burned to the ground by the fire set by Titus' troops. There, at the wailing wall, the rabbis wail and bemoan their loss of authority under Herod to this day! Jerusalem has been a cursed city ever since. They want to build a Third Temple in his honor! The Jewish impersonators ("scum") of Judah who occupy it today have turned it into the "abomination of desolation." It will be consumed by fire one more time, possibly even by an atomic fire. There has never been any evil so great as Talmudic Judaism. It is the religion of Satan, the religion of Esau, the religion of Cain, the religion of Lucifer, the religion of the Pharisees; and Satan is the deceiver who has convinced the whole world into believing the greatest lie of history, that "the Jews are God's chosen people." It is simply amazing – mind-boggling, actually -- that so many "Christians" accept, without any Bible study of their own, the ridiculous claims of the rabbis, Zionists and fundamentalist preachers who are nothing but wolves in sheep's clothing. With regard to that collection of usurers, war-mongers, slanderers, panderers, extortionists, sex-slavers, hypocrites, liars, murderers, abortionists and thieves commonly known as "the Israeli State," Christian Zionists have fallen victim to a most heinous subterfuge. They have been deceived by the Anti-Christ! They have swallowed this camel whole while ignoring all of the physical evidence that the Jewish people are the world's greatest violators of God's Law. In this, they have the distinct dishonor of fulfilling one of the most bizarre and provocative prophecies of the New Testament, made by Jesus Himself. This prophecy is rarely quoted because no non-Identity theologian can possibly understand it: "The time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service." (John 16:2.) Since up to 40% of Palestinians are actually Christians, the Christian Zionists have taken the side of the Anti-Christ and have condoned and financed the killing of Palestinian Christians. In the name of Jesus, they kill Christians! They actually think that they are doing God service! Prepare for the Judgment Day "Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered against it." (Zechariah 12:2,3.) Jerusalem, and the Israeli State, have been a burdensome stone since Zionism launched the fraudulent "back to Palestine" movement beginning with the Balfour Declaration in 1914. At the end of WWI, the British Army marched into Jerusalem and took it away from the Turks. The British Mandate gave them authority over the area. During WWII, the Zionists financed terrorist gangs who massacred entire villages of Palestinians. This reign of terror caused many Palestinians to flee for their lives. This is how "God gave Palestine to the Jewish people." But, God is not a liar. The Jews are the liars. In addition, these terrorist gangs murdered many British leaders and civilians who opposed what the Zionists were doing. Because of this reign of ethnic cleansing, which is still going on today, the British gave up the Mandate and handed Palestine over to the Zionists, something they had absolutely no legal right to do. Remember, the Palestinian people had never harmed the Jewish people in any way. They simply stood in the way of the Zionist buzz saw. Since when does the Bible allow the murder of completely innocent people? Jerusalem has been a pit of wailing ever since, with no end in sight. Those Christian Zionists who support this reign of terror will be held accountable for their refusal to look at the truth. They rest content in their state of deception, many of them smugly believing that they will be raptured up with Hal Lindsay just in the nick of time so as to avoid having to endure the tribulation. When Jesus returns, He will ask them, "Why do you crucify Me?" Can you imagine the mortification of one who has to come to grips with such a realization? They will say: "What do you mean? We have done everything in your name!" And He will remind them of His own prophecy: "They honor me with their lips, but their heart is far from me." At that point they will terribly regret not having read their Bibles, and, in the vain hope that they might redeem themselves, they will hunt down and kill the very preachers whom they have idolized. |
