By Eli James. E-Newsletter #8, December 25, 2004. Nord Davis: In Memoriam, Part 2
In Part I, I promised that I would tell the story of how Nord Davis was the man most responsible for ending the Vietnam War. Incredible as it sounds, Nord and his two compatriots, Granville N. Rideout and Lt. General Pedro A. del Valle, discovered that there was an Achilles heel in the supply lines of the NorthVietnamese communist regime, and they were able to force President Richard M. Nixon to attack that Achilles heel. Also, I gave some background about Nord Davis, Jr. Let's take a look at the backgrounds of Nord's two friends. In a little booklet entitled "Rolling Thunder: Is America's Future Ancient History?," written by Edgar Wallace Robinson, the story of the exploits of these three men is told.
The biographical sketch of Granville N. Rideout tells us that he tried to enlist in the U.S. Army during World War II but was rejected three times for poor vision. So, he went to Canada, where he was accepted into the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1941. But just before leaving for North Africa with the Canadian air force, Rideout was summoned by the U.S. Government to return to America where his skill as an engineer was required at Fort Devens, MA. After resigning this position there, Mr. Rideout finally got into the U.S. Military, eventually achieving the rank of First Lieutenant, U.S. Army Air Force. He served in the Pacific Theatre, notably at Okinawa. During the war, he received the Purple Heart for wounds received in battle and later earned a commendation from President Harry Truman. As a civilian, Rideout formed a company named Yankee Guns, which specialized in producing working replicas of Revolutionary and Civil War cannons. During the Vietnam War, Rideout was also involved in an operation whose object was the liberation of captured American soldiers who were being held by the enemy. He organized this mission on his own and paid for it himself. He was able to arrange for the release of five prisoners, bribing their guards for the price of $500 per prisoner. Pedro del Valle was born in Puerto Rico in 1893. His family moved to Baltimore, from where Pedro was able to enter the Naval Academy at Annapolis. He graduated in 1915. After 37 years of service, Gen. Del Valle accepted a position as Vice President of IT&T Corporation. He accepted this position after refusing to serve with the CIA, an organization which he felt was headed by pro-Communists such as Allen Dulles and General Bedell Smith, the former Chief of Staff for General Eisenhower. In 1953, Gen. del Valle formed a group called the Defenders of the American Constitution. A true Christian patriot, he formed this organization because he was disturbed at the internationalist, anti-American trends going on in high offices of the American government and military. These two brief sketches ought to provide some idea of the character of these two men. "Rolling Thunder" begins by telling the story of General Hannibal of Carthage, whose army battled the Roman Empire for a period of about 17 years. Hannibal's march over the Alps is one of the most famous military campaigns of history. In retelling this story, Edgar Wallace Robinson points out some major details which are left out by the orthodox history books. The main character that is left out is one Quintas Fabius Maximus, after whom the British Fabian Society is named. Most people have never heard of the Fabian Society, but, in essence, the Fabian Society is a group of wealthy and influential Britishers who favor and promote International Socialism as opposed to Constitutional Democracy. The reason they took Fabius' name is because he was a devious traitor, just like they are. The symbol of the Fabian Society is the Wolf in Sheep's Clothing. This should give you some idea of the nature of their character. Robinson tells us that, rather like Lincoln's General McClellan, who repeatedly refused to engage the enemy during the Civil War, Fabius Maximus became famous for refusing to engage Hannibal's army. This habit earned him the name, "The Delayer." His delay tactics seemed to have one major objective: to prolong the war so that he and his business partners could maximize the profits they made off the war with Hannibal. He also failed to fully engage the enemy, thus causing large numbers of casualties which could have been avoided by staging a real offense; but this Fabius refused to do. Robinson puts it thus: "Hannibal established a fortified camp, and from there his cavalry ravaged the countryside, while the Roman soldiers were obliged to simply look on, prevented from stopping them by the direct orders of Fabius. Although Hannibal was ravaging and destroying all the countryside around Rome, he very carefully avoided doing any damage to Fabius' own property in these raids. Does this cause certain doubts as to the loyalty of Fabius to his own country? Question: How did Hannibal know to avoid Fabius' property? Could it have been a conspiracy? Yes, it could. The whole point of bringing up the story of Fabius Maximus is to draw certain parallels to the Vietnam War, a war which giant corporations had a definite interest in prolonging...for profit. Also, the U.S. military aircraft scrupulously avoided hitting certain oil fields in the war zone which were owned by the Rockefeller family. Just as Fabius had ordered his army not to attack Hannibal at crucial times, Robert McNamara, the Fabius of the Vietnam War, repeatedly prevented the U.S. military from dealing decisive blows to the communists. This is why Vietnam became known as a "no-win war." It's not that we lost the Vietnam War. We were prevented from winning it by our politicians. The American people are completely unaware of this Fabian-style treachery; and the Zionist-controlled media never mentioned any of these things. As more and more American military men became aware of this treachery, there began an unpublicized rumbling within the military to either win the war or get out; but, as you may well appreciate, when there are Big Bucks to be made from war, the war tends to get prolonged; and it gets uglier and uglier. Robinson puts it this way: "What is not common knowledge is that most of the high ranking military leaders of the Vietnam fiasco were secret members of the Council on Foreign Relations [the American arm of the British Rothschild entity known as the Royal Institute for International Affairs -- EJ] - a group dedicated to a One-World Government/Dictatorship. Those few American officers who were not members of the CFR quickly discovered their political vulnerability. Most patriots were bypassed for promotion. Others were court-martialed for releasing unauthorized statements to the public. In my previous Newsletter, I mentioned how international corporations (capitalists) were doing business with the communist bloc during the Vietnam War, thus enabling the communists to fight against American troops. This prompted Col. J.R. Niemela (Retired) to write to me, regarding his personal experiences: "As to Vietnam, you might also add the restrictions placed on the air war, as our tactical fighters could only enter and exit Vietnam at preselected points, always the same, otherwise known as ingress and egress points where the Vietcong simply positioned their anti-aircraft weapons. Further, the tactical air power was not permitted to strike the oil refineries of North Vietnam, as they were owned by the Rockefellers, and the British "allies" were actively supplying the North with ships into Haiphong for years." The essence of this story is this: The U.S. military was permitted to engage the enemy as long as corporate assets were not at risk. (This kind of cooperation between capitalism and communism is nothing new. It must be understood that the Bolshevik Coup against Russia was financed by the Rothschilds and Rockefeller families as part of their ongoing war against Christian Civilization. The Rothschilds provided Trotsky with $20 million via their American bank, Kuhn-Loeb & Company; and the Warburgs provided Lenin with another $20 million before he got on the train in Switzerland bound for Russia. Franklin Delano Roosevelt could have destroyed Soviet communism simply by letting it run out of money and supplies; but by recognizing Stalin's regime, he opened up the doors of trade and loans and more treachery. The Rockefeller organ, Chase Manhattan Bank, was a regular contributor of funding to the Soviet Union, having a branch bank on Red Square. This 70-year program of torture and genocide against Christian Russia is history's most gargantuan and devastating act of Terror, claiming the lives of sixty million innocent people. The financing of this Jewish-led campaign against Christian Russia is detailed in the book, Under the Sign of the Scorpion, by Juri Lina.) In other words, the American military was being directed by modern day Fabians. From this perspective, it can be seen that all of our troops in Vietnam were put in harm's way for ulterior motives. It is evident to me that the Rothschild family (the 8th Beast of the Book of Revelation) was instrumental in perpetrating the Vietnam War. There were many tactical reasons for this, such as destabilizing the entire region for their One World Government ambitions, demoralizing the American people so as to drive a political wedge between the pro-war hawks and the anti-war doves, the distribution into our unsuspecting society of mind-altering drugs via the CIA, and the introduction of socialistic legislation, such as LBJ's "Great Society" while the American people were distracted by an ugly war. And let's not forget: making Big Bucks off the war. This multi-level assault on the character and composition of the American society was intended to bring about our destabilization, just as the current war in Iraq is intended to bring about our total capitulation to an Orwellian state of "perpetual war for perpetual peace." This is popularly known as "the war on terror." In reality, it is Treason and Terror versus Christianity and Democracy. In fact, the not-so Great Society opened Pandora's Box, out of which flew some of the most vile and disgusting creatures: feminism, homosexuality, pornography, the drug culture, hedonism ("If it feels good, do it."), the "Me Generation" of materialism, abortion on demand, race-mixing, infiltration of the universities by left-wing extremists, tremendous expansion of socialistic government, the end of prayer in the schools, etc., etc., etc. It simply amazes me how mainstream Christians could not see the walls crumbling! More amazing still is the utter silence, with exceptions only from very conservative ministers, of the clergy while these abominations were growing and spreading. Bearing all of these things in mind, we can now comprehend the enormous disaster that the Vietnam War was becoming for America. Enter our three heroes. On page 44 of Rolling Thunder, Robinson tells us: "Rolling Thunder" was the secret code name chosen by the U.S. military for an extensive bombing operation which, according to original plans, would have resulted in the closing of Haiphong Harbor in North Vietnam." Unfortunately, this operation was never put into effect. In the fall of 1971, Nord Davis, aware of this situation, wrote in issue #63 of Pardon Me, But…: $100,000 REWARD will be paid to the pilot or divided among the crew of any aircraft, ship, boat, assault or frog man team, either military or civilian, American or Vietnamese, which is successful in sinking by any means whatever, the very specialized dredge which maintains the Cua Cam waterway and harbor facilities at the North Vietnamese port of Haiphong." In this newsletter, Davis pointed out that American lives are being needlessly lost because of our failure to stop deliveries of military goods to Haiphong Harbor. "For at least seven years, our top military advisors have begged our Presidents Johnson and Nixon for permission to block Haiphong to save American lives. Both men repeatedly refused." Davis pointed out the treason that was occurring in high places which put American lives at risk. With 80% of the deliveries to North Vietnam coming through Haiphong Harbor, Davis knew that sinking the dredge that kept the waterway navigable would summarily end all of these shipments. That December, Nord Davis was contacted by Granivlle Rideout. They met in Townsend, Massachusetts where they discussed the pros and cons of a dredge-sinking operation, bearing in mind that they would be defying the President of the United States, not to mention the Rockefellers and the Rothschilds, history's two biggest mafia-style war-monger families. Even should they succeed at such an operation, they would be marked men. Granville Rideout then proceeded to Singapore, Manila, where he posed as an American businessmen seeking to do business with the company that built the Haiphong dredge. The meeting with the salesman from this company gave Rideout all the information he needed about the technical details of the dredge. Asmit turned out, Singapore Harbor had an exact duplicate of the dredge operating in its own waters. Rideout then chartered a boat to go out and look at it and get first-hand knowledge of it. Then, Mr. Rideout proceeded to Saigon, South Vietnam, where he met with an engineer in the South Vietnamese Army, one Phan Thanh Nghia. He and Nghia discussed the options for sinking the dredge. They concluded that an air strike would be botht he easiest and the least costly. Mr. Rideout then secured two operational B-26 bombers. These he was able to "rent" for a total of $5000 each! (Are you believing any of this or have I lost you?) The pilots who had been hired to fly the planes requested information on the location of both U.S. and communist forces so as not to be spotted by either. It was decided that a low-altitude strafing operation would be the only one capable of success. Says: Robinson on page 59 of Rolling Thunder, "The planned dates of the flight were to coincide with a half moon. A full moon makes the aircraft too easy to see and a no moon would make it too dark for the pilots to see well for low altitude flight. The tentative dates for the flight under a half moon were May 1st through May 7th, 1972. The final date would be chosen within twenty-four hours of takeoff, after taking weather and other contingencies into consideration" The crew felt confident that the low-altitude flight would enable them to evade Soviet MIG jets as well as SAM-1 and SAM-2 missiles, which were heat-seeking missiles and ineffective against a propeller plane. At this point, everything was ready except for one thing: The B-26 bomber was so old-fashioned that they couldn't find the bombs which would fit the B-26 bomb bay; and trying to locate such bombs on the civilian market would immediately arouse suspicion. What to do? Proposed flight plan for Operation Rolling Thunder.
Back in the good ole USA, Nord Davis was frantically calling people to find out how to possibly get these bombs through the military in the vicinity of Vietnam. It turned out that one of his personal friends was the secretary to General Pedro del Valle. Rideout flew back from Vietnam and he and Davis met with General del Valle at his home to explain the details of their plan. Del Valle told them that he liked their plan, agreed with it but that he could not help them. He had no idea where to obtain such bombs. This meant that there was only one solution: modify the B-26 bomb to accept another type of bomb! But this would involve much expense and delay, not to mention feasibility. Davis and Rideout concluded that there must be some other solution. At this point, del Valle had only one option. General del Valle gave Granville Rideout a letter of introduction to his good friend, Admiral John McCain - yes, the father of that John McCain Jr., who is today a United States Senator. At that time, Admiral John McCain was none other than the Commander in Chief of the Pacific Fleet. Letter in hand, Granville Rideout, on April 28, 1972, paid a visit to Admiral McCain in Hawaii. Although Admiral McCain refused to see him in person, Rideout was able to exchange brief messages with McCain through office personnel. After McCain got the gist of what Rideout was proposing, Rideout was informed that the Admiral could in no way support such a mission and that, if undertaken, the aircraft would be shot down. But Rideout was careful not to reveal too many details of the operation, making it appear that he was only seeking approval for the mission and not yet revealing the need for the special bombs. But before being completely rebuffed, Rideout had an inadvertent stroke of genius. The intermediaries had gotten the impression that Rideout and his team had amassed a large number of airplanes and that they were going through with this mission, no matter what. In a bold stroke, Rideout told the Admiral's aides that Operation Rolling Thunder would be put into effect and that the U.S. Navy and the Nixon Administration should just try to stop it!!!! In effect, Rideout had given Admiral McCain an ultimatum: if you don't sink the dredge, we will! Admiral McCain then had no choice but to contact Richard Nixon and tell him that there was a civilian operation underway to sink the Haiphong dredge and that it would very likely be successful. Considering the flak that Nixon had already been getting from many anti-war military personnel, one can only imagine what was going through Richard Nixon's mind. If the operation was successful and international shipping came to a grinding halt, then Nixon would have a lot of explaining to do, not just to the American public, but to the whole world, including all of the giant corporations whose ships would be floating around uselessly in the South China Sea with loads of cargo and nowhere to unload. The embarrassment of being both upstaged and blackmailed by a group of patriotic Americans would be too much to bear. By the grace of God, on May 8, 1972, exactly ten days after Granville Rideout issued his ultimatum to Admiral John McCain, President Richard M. Nixon ordered the mining of Haiphong Harbor. This was, effectively, the equivalent of sinking the dredge. With 80% of the supplies suddenly unavailable to the North Vietnamese, and with the Nixon Administration hushing up the significance of Harbor, the war was over. Nixon signed the armistice the following January. It is certainly possible that Nixon was looking for an excuse to give all the fat cats of international war-mongering that the war had to end. It is possible that Operation Rolling Thunder gave him a way out that enabled him to claim to be the man who ended the War. If he were really shrewd, he would have placated the Rockefellers by telling them that their Standard Oil refinery near Haiphong Harbor would be blown up, and the world would know that the Rockefellers were providing oil to the enemy. One thing is for sure: A lot of wealthy and powerful men lost a lot of sleep in those fateful ten days. Another thing is also sure: Those same fat cats are still profiting from treason today. As Paul Harvey might say, now you know the rest of the story. |
