Should Obama Control the Internet?

Should President Obama have the power to shut down domestic Internet traffic during a state of emergency?
Senators John Rockefeller (D-W. Va.) and Olympia Snowe (R-Maine) think so. On Wednesday they introduced a bill to establish the Office of the National Cybersecurity Advisor—an arm of the executive branch that would have vast power to monitor and control Internet traffic to protect against threats to critical cyber infrastructure. That broad power is rattling some civil libertarians.
The Cybersecurity Act of 2009 (PDF) gives the president the ability to "declare a cybersecurity emergency" and shut down or limit Internet traffic in any "critical" information network "in the interest of national security." The bill does not define a critical information network or a cybersecurity emergency. That definition would be left to the president.
The bill does not only add to the power of the president. It also grants the Secretary of Commerce "access to all relevant data concerning [critical] networks without regard to any provision of law, regulation, rule, or policy restricting such access." This means he or she can monitor or access any data on private or public networks without regard to privacy laws.
Rockefeller made cybersecurity one of his key issues as a member of the Senate intelligence committee, which he chaired until last year. He now heads the Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation, which will take up this bill.
"We must protect our critical infrastructure at all costs—from our water to our electricity, to banking, traffic lights and electronic health records—the list goes on," Rockefeller said in a statement. Snowe echoed her colleague, saying, "if we fail to take swift action, we, regrettably, risk a cyber-Katrina."
But the wide powers outlined in the Rockefeller-Snowe legislation has at least one Internet advocacy group worried. "The cybersecurity threat is real," says Leslie Harris, head of the Center for Democracy and Technology (CDT), "but such a drastic federal intervention in private communications technology and networks could harm both security and privacy."
The bill could undermine the Electronic Communications Privacy Act (ECPA), says CDT senior counsel Greg Nojeim. That law, enacted in the mid '80s, requires law enforcement seek a warrant before tapping in to data transmissions between computers.
"It's an incredibly broad authority," Nojeim says, pointing out that existing privacy laws "could fall to this authority."
Jennifer Granick, civil liberties director at the Electronic Frontier Foundation, says that granting such power to the Commerce secretary could actually cause networks to be less safe. When one person can access all information on a network, "it makes it more vulnerable to intruders," Granick says. "You've basically established a path for the bad guys to skip down."
The bill's scope, she says, is "contrary to what the Constitution promises us." That's because of the impact it could have on Internet users' privacy rights: If the Commerce Department uncovers evidence of illegal activity when accessing "critical" networks, that information could be used against a potential defendant, even if the department never had the intent to find incriminating evidence. And this might violate the Constitutional protection against searches without cause.
"Once information is accessed, it can be used for whatever purpose, no matter the original reason for accessing something," Granick says. "Who's interested in this [bill]? Law enforcement and people in the security industry who want to ensure more government dollars go to them."
Nojeim, though, thinks it's possible the bill's powers could be trimmed as it moves through Congress. "We will be working with them to clarify just what is needed and how to accomplish that," he says. "We're hopeful that some of the very broad powers that the bill would confer won't be included."

I have some matters of urgency for you. Today I just heard of a bill being placed before the Senate that will empower the Obama Administration to control and shut down internet services at will, as well as to check, at will, any personal information stored on the internet or in people's computers.

If this bill passes we as American citizens could become seriously hindered in our ability to unite and defend our nation.  A plan must be developed that will allow the citizens of America to unite against the enemy should our ability to work through the internet be removed.

Also, we must make sure that all of our most important contacts have access to land line telephones.  Our cell phones can be shut down just as easily as the internet, and conversations are much easier monitored on a cell phone than on a land line.  Also, cell phones can be used as bugging devices to listen to our conversations, even when our phone is off.

Our computer is the same. If you have high speed internet, fios, cable or anything that requires installation of a box in your home for service; these boxes can double as listening devices.

We probably have a little time before the government trips the snare on the populace, but just in case it happens sooner you need to have a PO Box´s or secure addresses where we can send letters snail mail and know that we will receive it and be able to receive it in confidentiality.

We must also provide these vital types of contact information and methods to all of our critical contacts.  If the cell phones and the Internet are shut down, or if we need communication that cannot be tapped, snail mail is still the most secure form of communication.

If you ever need to send a confidential correspondence, do not place your name on the envelope; but place have the sender write the recipients address as both the address, and as the return address, to help ensure successful delivery, and to keep your name off the envelope.

If you ever need to call when in a situation where it is important to conceal your identity or location, practice speaking with a different accent when making these types of "anonymous" phone conversations in case they have your voice profile.  You will need to use a pay phone, and either pay cash for the call, or use a calling card that you purchased with cash, so that there will be no way to easily or quickly connect the call to you.

Islam, and/or the New World Order is not taking over, it already has.  Through Mr. Obama they now not only have the reigns of our government, but also, potentially, the reigns of our military.  Don´t be surprised if most of our troops remain overseas.  With our men overseas we are greatly compromised in our ability to defend ourselves from attack on our home land.  This is why they are now targeting veterans, because they have military skills, and many of them also have weapons.

Up until last year, every military man was sworn in to defend the country, but last year the rules changed to cause every military man to swear allegiance to protect the president.  Mr. Obama is refusing to reinstate a ban on the sale of assault weapons to Mexico, while at the same time making it more difficult for Americans to own guns, and limiting sales of ammunition.  An attack from the Southern border is just a matter of time.

You will also find many townhouses being built around shopping centers like little self-sufficient villages within the cities.  This is so that when they impose martial law they will be better able to contain citizens and limit travel.  In the country, where most armed citizens live, they will simply take over armed households one house at a time.  This is also the reason for the push for Mass Transit systems, and for the outlawing in the near future of all fossil fuel vehicles and equipment.

They have also made it illegal to sell food to others from your garden.

When people go to You-tube, they identify what people watch in order to mark them as either friendly or unfriendly to the Obama Administration or New World Order.

The same with the signature petitions, every time we sign a petition, we are telling the government where we stand politically, and giving them our names and addresses to boot so that they know where to come and find us when they decide to take political prisoners.  This doesn’t mean that we should not sign petitions; only that we must act quickly to increase our numbers, for the more of us that they know there are, the more they will fear us, and hesitate to harm us.

Your virus ware that is just about impossible to run a computer without also doubles as a gateway for the government to enter your computer and view personal information.  Even information you have deleted.

As for that list of Moslem training camps I gave you, if you have never sent that to your email list before, then this might be the time to do it.  Adding specific addresses to it would be an additional help if you know any of the specifics; I have resubmitted the list below.

It is important for people to know where these camps are.  There are bound to be some militia men on your email list who would find that information helpful, as well as the other information in this letter which I am sharing with you.

And finally, now we have pictures of our soon to be dictator smiling at us everywhere we look, just like they do in Islamic countries, in communists countries, and how Hitler also did.

Even as sin has taken over our nation, even so now the wicked are also taking over.  The physical cannot be separated from the spiritual.  Every time our enemies took us over as Israel in the Holy Scriptures, it was because sin was in the camp.  And now the enemy is quickly taking over America, because, once again, sin is in the camp.

We can fight this together…  I do not have all the answers, but with you on the political fronts, and me at the spiritual front, perhaps like Ester and Mordecai, we can save our people; and perhaps like David with Goliath, we can knock out the enemy with a single, critical blow.

America cannot succeed with a purely political approach.  We need the righteous at our defense, we need prayer warriors protecting our path, we need God fearing (Yahuweh fearing) individuals to guide us in our decisions.  We need an alternative plan in case the internet and communications are shut down.  We need friends to comfort us and to encourage us who understand the seriousness of what is going on, and who perceive things with the same depth of perception that we do.

Expect the economy to possibly collapse by Fall, and the dollar to be possibly replaced by the Amero as soon as the first of next year.  Buy gold and silver while you can.  Stock up on food. Start a garden, plant some fruit trees, learn how to can food, and grow some chickens for meat and eggs; and well, if nothing else, keep a good variety of grass and weeds around for a nice salad!

We need to reach and organize as many people as we can, as quickly as we can, while we are still able, for the stronger we are spiritually, and the louder and more solitary our voice, the more we can keep their plans at bay; and with the help and blessing of Yahuweh, we can have the victory.

If you need to keep this correspondence, then please print it out and keep it in a safe place and delete all evidence of it from your computer and email system.  Any future conversation about these kinds of matters will have to be by land line, by letter, or in person.

     Mystery Babylon is the political/religious/economic world wide system which hates God Almighty and is mentioned in the book of Revelation 17:1-5.  Mystery Babylon runs the world behind the scenes of all nations’ governments.  It is called a "Mystery"  because not one out of hundreds of thousands of people even know this "hidden government" exists!  But exists it does and has since before the days of Christ.
     Mystery Babylon controls the world's wealth and will do anything and everything to maintain its grip on that wealth.   When America was born as a nation (technically a federation), it was the result of Christian Bible believers freeing themselves from the British economic arm of Mystery Babylon.  Despite what our children are now being taught in the atheist universities, history is overwhelmed with the fact that America's origin was a Christian experience founded on the freedom of Christ's shed blood empowered to unshackle our chains.  Samuel Adams, "Father of the American Revolution", who organized the Boston Tea Party, stated in his pamphlet   The Rights of the Colonists circulated in 1772 :"The right to freedom being the gift of the Almighty...The rights of the colonists as Christians...may be best understood by reading and carefully studying the institutions of The Great Law Giver and Head of the Christian Church, which are to be found clearly written and promulgated in the New Testament."  History records that on May 16th, 1776 Continental Congress appointed a national day of fasting and prayer for America: "The Congress ---Desirous ---to have people of all ranks and degrees duly impressed with a solemn sense of God's superintending providence, and of their duty, devoutly to rely...on His aid and direction---Do earnestly recommend Friday, the 17th day of May be observed by the colonies as a day of humiliation, fasting, and prayer; that we may, with united hearts, confess and bewailed our manifold sins and transgressions, and, by sincere repentance and amendment of life, appease God's righteous displeasure, and, through the merits and mediation of Jesus Christ, obtain this pardon and forgiveness."

Brothers and sisters, the atheist communalist New World Order will not succeed.  However you will have to do your part to defend America.  It starts with self education and prayer.   Please get moving now and get busy learning and teaching others.  May Jesus Christ bless you greatly!
